Perfect date night spot . We came here to see poncho sanchez and reserved a booth upstairs . It was absolutely perfect. Delicious dinner, drinks music with a nice private booth.
There's valet parking in the parking lot but it gets pretty crowded close to show time . If you are open to a short walk there's always parking a couple blocks away -

So went last night, (sat), for our 1 yr anniversary, my bf booked a 7:30pm res, which they either texted, or called him 3x to verify!! Vitello's is a lively, good vibe establishment, they've obviously redecorated, kind of a woody/metal/eclectic scene-decor, w/lots of rooms to sit. We were sat @ a cozy booth in the smaller bar area on the ground floor. They have a nice open dining room which opens to a nice outdoor patio(liked the openness)...our waitress was upbeat, great energy, told us the specials. We had wine, a cocktail, which were served super fast, plus fried artichokes, also pretty good, served quickly. I had the blackened cod w/mushroom risotto, my bf had the filet mignon w/a cab reduction & fries, both were served hot & very tasty.
Our bus boy was "Johnny on the spot!" He was a 16 yr old nephew of 1 of the chefs, he was so proud of himself, & we outwardly admired him for being so attentive....overall the whole experience was great, I had read negative reviews which I didn't find anything negative. We chose not to do a show bc a few reviews expressed it being very cramped, which we don't like.
There's a lot w/valet, or street parking. You have to have a permit on the side streets after 9pm, understandable bc there's homes/apts surrounding the resto....the only thing which I've never seen on a menu is an up charge of 3% for what I don't know, & nothing complimentary such as bread, olives, tampinade...
It's not cheap, it's good quality, having owned restaurants, it's nice to give something to customers!!! -

A pure LA gem if there ever was one. Some of THE best Italian in Los Angeles WITH live music. My goto spot for Cacio e Pepe - so make sure to ask for "Italian Classics" menu. The staff is incredible and the bartenders friendly.
Treat yourself to the Margherita pizza as a starter and don't sleep on the Capellini alla Checca either.
Bear in mind you don't have to goto their special live theater at Feinstein's to enjoy great music. They have amazing artists performing in the dining room which only makes the night more fantastic. As a bonus, Tujunga is a beautiful little village of food and shops so you can grab coffee and dessert at Vitello's and/or have a wander through the area afterwards. -

New Year's Eve at Vitello's is one of the finest food and service that I have experienced in a long time. Also, it has a fantastic showroom that shouldn't be missed. The management under the direction of Rick you can't go wrong. Also, the service in the speakeasy and the food is something that you won't find anywhere. Scott if a very efficient waiter and can get you anything you want. Getting back to Rick, my tickets for the show got lost along the way and it was entirely booked up, but somehow Rick and the showroom managers pulled a rabbit out of the hat and delivered my new year's tickets for a banged-up new year's eve. Vitello's is the spot to go.

The first time I've ordered of the chicken parmesan with spaghetti and spicy meat sauce. It was so good and filling! The host was professional and polite. It was enough having leftovers and delicious
